About the Authors
Elizabeth Collins, N.D., is a graduate of Reed College and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. She practices family medicine and natural childbirth and also teaches at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Collins lives with her husband, David, in Portland, Oregon.
Nancy Berkoff, R.D., Ed.D., is a registered dietician, food technologist, and certified chef. She divides her time between teaching nutrition and culinary arts, food writing, and consulting.
Anna M. Barton holds a degree in biological sciences. Her background includes work in biomedical research laboratories, freelance writing, and medical transcription. Her familiarity with these areas, combined with painstaking research, allows her to provide reliable information about alternatives and adjuncts to the standard western medical approach.
